The Moon by alifann The Moon by alifann
Charcoal sketch + charcoal powder. This was going to be a painting but then school started.

Check out more of my charcoal drawings and paintings on www.ivanalifan.com

Amazing work.  And I like the title of this one.  The Moon.  It makes me feel as if I can see outside the periphery of the paper/canvas.  I know how dark the night is ... I know where the moon is located ... I can picture it penetrating the window ... and I can feel the symbiotic relationship she has with the moon.

Well, I have not been here for a while, but I noticed my comment from last year, and I have to say - I really dropped a stinker ion this one .I wish I could remove it , but I can't so here goes...

I sincerely apologize for doubting your skills and question your work,I see you chose a high road and decided not to response to my turd of an opinion, which just shows you are a person of quality.I spent last year practicing heavy in digital medium(not even close to your level), but for me skills with real paint and charcoal are ,and always will be a thing to behold.
Again, I hope you will not think more of this blunder and I wish you many accomplishments in your career. Perhaps someday I will have a chance,  to appreciate some of your work up close.
Take care.

Great atmosphere and value, I like the implied forms hidden by the light.
